Rockstar Rescue's Shelter Dog Field Trip/ Sleepover

Short answer Yes & No!
Though we prefer those interested in taking a dog to Prescott for a sleepover to do so alone, we also understand it's not that easy to get away from family and children. If you can make arrangements to take this one night trip alone, please do so, but if you cannot get away, we can match you with a dog that is more tolerant of new people and children.
At the same time, this is not meant to be a "vacation" for you and your entire family. This is a sleepover for the dogs to get out of the shelter and your time and concentration be directed to them!

Yes & No.
Cost for the one-night stay at the Prescott Motel 6 is paid for by Rockstar Rescue. Your costs would be gas, food, and any activities you choose to do while in Prescott.

YES! 

Though Rockstar representatives will be on hand, and you would not be completely left to your own devices for help, assistance, suggestions, issues, etc.. You will sign a Foster Agreement, and would essentially be "Fostering" your dog for the duration of the trip. Incurring all responsibilities that are within.

Food, harness and leash is provided. You will need food and water bowls, and any blankets, bedding, or toys you'd like to offer for use.

Provide EXCELLENT love and care for the dog you have chosen to be responsible for. Provide enrichment such as walks and attention. Some dogs require more activities than others. Some will be comfortable relaxing in the hotel room. The group may choose to have a group walk or park get together (TBD). Your compliance and participation in any and all will be required.

Check-in at the hotel in Prescott is 2pm. Therefore, we'd like to have all dogs saddled and ready for the caravan drive up by 12:30pm on Saturday, August 19th.
We will all check in, get settled, decide if we want to do any group walks or activities. Eat, enjoy the rest of the day/evening.
Then Sunday, August 20th, maybe a group activity, breakfast, etc... then check out at 11am and caravan back down, getting everyone checked back in at Rockstar by 1pm-ish
Pretty much a 24hr time frame.

ABSOLUTELY! We encourage this so the dog you choose knows you, even just a little bit, prior to driving up and walking them around. This can be scheduled most days, so email to arrange a pre-sleepover meet and greet and we'll get you all hooked up!
